To help you strengthen your lower back muscles while in the Bridge posture, use your thighs.
When you are in the raised position, hold, using your hands on your back if it helps, and gently bring your knees together and apart several times.
Inhale on closing your knees, and exhale on opening your knees. You should soon feel the benefit, but do remember never to over exert.
